Have a Tasty Day. Today I am adding an egg recipe which is good with chapathi or pathiri etc. I prepared this Egg Roast in my own way and all my family members like it. It is very easy to prepare with less ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
Egg - 4
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Shallots - 10 (chopped)
Garlic - 6 pod (chopped)
Ginger - 1 piece (chopped)
Tomato -1 (big) (make a smooth paste)
Chilli powder- 1 teaspoon
Green Chillies - 2 (chopped)
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Coriander leaves - 1 table spoon (chopped)
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Cooking oil - 1 teaspoon
PREPARATION
Boil egg and remove the shell. Pour oil (I use coconut oil for preparing this) in a hot pan and add mustard seeds. When it splutter, add chopped shallots, ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves and saute well. Then add chopped onion salt and sugar and saute again. Add tomato paste and saute well. Now add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, black pepper powder and coriander powder. Saute well for one minute and add i cup water to it. Boil the gravy and allow it to get thick. Put boiled egg and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes more in low flame. Now Egg Roast is ready to serve. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
