PANEER PULAV / PANEER FRIED RICE

Pulav is a dish which rice is cooked in a seasoned broth. We can prepare fried rice with vegetables as well as meat, chicken, egg or other ingredients like fish, soya chunks or paneer etc. Now I am preparing Paneer Fried Rice.


Here is the recipe:

INGREDIENTS
Basmathi Rice - 2 cup
Cashew Nuts - 20
Raisins - 20
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon ( crushed)
Onion - 2 (big) ( cut it into small pieces)
Green peas - 1/2 cup (cooked)
Chilly powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Capsicum - 1 (chopped)
Paneer - 250 g
Biriyani Essence - 1 drop
Ghee - 3 teaspoon
Pineapple - 2 cup ( chopped)
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Garlic - 2 pod
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Salt - to taste
METHOD
   Wash and cook basmathi rice and keep it aside. Pour ghee in a hot pan and fry cashew nuts and raisins respectively and keep aside. Add cumin seeds to the ghee and allow it to splutter. Then add ginger garlic paste and crushed black pepper to it and saute well. Then add chopped onion and saute until it get translucent. Add chilly powder and garam masala and stir well. Then add cooked green peas to it and saute for 2 minutes. Add chopped capsicum and paneer respectively. Saute for 5 minutes. Then add cooked rice and salt and mix well. Add 1 drop biriyani essence or rose water and mix well. Finally add chopped pineapple pieces and coriander leaves and mix well. Paneer Pulav is ready. Garnish it with fried raisins and cashew nuts and serve..



STEP BY STEP METHOD

1. Wash and cook Basmathi rice and keep aside. Pour ghee in a hot pan anf put cashew nuts to it.

2. Add raisins and fry it in ghee and keep aside.

3. Add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.

4. Add ginger garlic paste and crushed black pepper to it and saute well.


5. Add chopped onion to it and saute well until it get translucent.

6. Add chilly powder and garam masala and saute for few seconds.


7. Add cooked green peas to it and stir well.

8. Add chopped capsicum and mix well.


9. Add paneer pieces to it and saute for some time.



]0. Add cooked rice, salt and essence to it and mix well.



11. Add pineapple pieces and chopped coriander leaves to it and mix well.

12. Pulav is ready now. Garnish it with fried cashew nuts and raisins.


13. Serve and enjoy...

PALAK PANEER

Palak Paneer is a vegetarian Indian dish consisting of spinach, tomato gravy and paneer in a thick paste made from pureed spinach and seasoned with garlic, garam masala, ginger and other spices. Palak Paneer is one type of saag which can also be made with spinach leaves. Palak Paneer may be somewhat more watery than saag paneer.

   Palak and Paneer are good for our health. Palak has a lot of health benefits. It help to prevent heart diseases, cholesterol, high blood pressure etc. Try this healthy recipe today itself.



PALAK PANEER


INGREDIENTS

Palak - 2 cup
Paneer - 200gram
Onion - 1 (big)
Tomato - 1 (big)
Ginger - 1 piece
Garlic - 4 cloves
Green chillies - 2
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Cloves -2
Cinnamon stick -1
Salt - to taste
Cooking Oil - 1 table spoon
Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 table spoon


PREPARATION


   Blanch palak leaves in boiled water for 5 minutes. Put it in a blender and make a fine paste and keep aside. Grind ginger and garlic together and make a paste. Chop onion and slit green chillies. Chop tomatoes. Put a heavy bottomed pan on the stove and pour oil when get hot. Put cloves and cinnamon sticks to it. Add ginger - garlic paste to it and saute. Add chopped onion and green chillies to it and saute well. When the onion get translucent, add chopped tomatoes. When tomatoes get mashy, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Stir well. Add salt and some water to it and mix well. Add Paneer pieces to the boiling gravy. Finally add palak paste to the curry and allow it to boil. Turn the flame on sim and cook for 5 minutes. The Palak Paneer Curry is ready. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with chapati or paratha.

CHILLI PANEER

Hai Friends.....


      HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY


   Today I am telling about one of my favourite PANEER (INDIAN COTTAGE CHEESE) recipes. Paneer is very tasty and all of you should like it. 

   Today's special recipe is Chilly Paneer. Chilly Paneer is a very tasty vegetarian dish. It is a very good combination with Fried Rice or Chappati.



CHILLY PANEER



INGREDIENTS

Paneer - 300 gm
Onion - 1 ( cut it into big dices)
Garlic - 8 cloves 
Ginger - 1 medium piece ( finely chopped)
Ginger - Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin Seed Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Corn Flour - 5 tablespoon + 1 tablespoon
Green Chilli - 2-3 (cut it into small pieces)
Egg - 1 (optional)
Chilli Sauce - 1 teaspoon
Soya Sauce - 1 teaspoon
Tomato Sauce - 1 teaspoon
Oil - for shallow frying
Salt - to taste

PREPARATION

   Add 5 tsp Corn Flour, Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Seed Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Egg (optional), Ginger- Garlic paste, Turmeric Powder, Salt and 1 1/2 teaspoon water (if you don't want to add egg, then add 2 1/2 teaspoon water) in a bowl and combined well to make a batter. Marinate Paneer in this batter and keep aside for 15 minutes.

      Heat a pan and deep fry the marinated Paneer in medium flame.Don't allow it to get brown. Keep this aside.

   In the same pan add Garlic pieces, Ginger, and Green Chilli respectively and stir  and saute well. Add Soya sauce to it. Add Onion dices to it when it get boiled and saute. After 3min add Chilli Sauce, Tomato sauce, salt and some water and boil it. When it get boiled addCapsicum and  Paneer pieces and combine well. Cover this with a lid and cook in low flame for 2 min.

    Add Coriander Leaves. Take 1 teaspoon Corn Flour in a bowl and add some water and stir well. Add this to the Chilli Paneer to thicken the gravy. Turn off the flame when Chilli Paneer get thick and garnish it with Coriander Leaves.

    Serve with Fried Rice or Chappati and Enjoy.....
